Race 5 & 6 take place at Auto Club Dragway in Fontana CA.July 15th & 16th. The NHRA Summit Racing Series features a bracket racing format that allows drivers in many types of vehicles, including dragsters, roadsters, sedans, and coupes, to compete on an equal basis against each other. In addition to three categories of competition for cars, a motorcycle category is featured.
NHRA Summit Racing Series racers compete for points and cash awards at a number of qualifying events at approximately 130 NHRA member tracks throughout North America. Drivers who earn the most points are eligible to compete.
Round 6 of the Formula DRIFT Pro Season has us traveling August 4 - 5th to one of the oldest tracks on the Formula DRIFT circuit, Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Washington. Monroe is only about a 45-minute drive North of Seattle, so expect some die-hard Pacific Northwest fans to make their way to the event.
Evergreen Speedway is also known for having some of the toughest transition spots on the circuit, so drivers will need to keep it tight if they want to win over the fans and the judges.
