WEEKLY PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
This suspense is terrible. I hope it will last.
Heart racing...hands sweating...suspense mounting. There's a real art to being able to create a scary thriller. Each year CATV & the Hopkins Center for the Arts give local creatives the opportunity to practice that art by competing in the Halloween-o-thon short thriller film competition. We're going to miss premiering the films at the Hop's posh Black Family Visual Arts Center theater. Instead we're hosting a virtual premiere to protect our friends from the real evil that lurks. Details about this Thursday's premiere below.
(Title quoted from Oscar Wilde.)
CATV is your voice, your media, your community.
This summer 36 amateur film teams, including teams from our area, separately filmed scenes to remake the Tom Hanks movie "Cast Away."

remake while socially distancing!
"Nothing New" is a series of chats with local artists & artists who've called the UV their home in the past. From goofy to irreverent, at times explicit, but always interesting--the creative mind.
John Torbin, from the NH School Funding Fairness Project, weighs in on the state's constitutional responsibilities to school funding in this short video.
A VT Law School discussion about the sustainability implications of the USMCA & NAFTA agreements.
Author Richard Kreitner discusses his book "Break It Up" which examines whether the US should split up. Yikes!
"Democracy is the government of the people, by the people, for the people."
US President Abraham Lincoln
