Delreo Newman - GT&T
Meet the Newest CANTO Board Director

Delreo Newman representing  Guyana Telephone and Telegraph is the newest addition to the CANTO  Board of Directors.  Mr.  Newman was elected at the 33rd AGM held in Curacao in  January, 2017.  He is the Director International Regulatory & Government Affairs of ATNI

Director Newman shared some insight into his goals and objectives in regards to CANTO.

What  is your personal vision/goal  for CANTO?
I would like to see CANTO become as well known and accepted as UWI or CARICOM

What do you like about the CANTO organization?
I like the camaraderie that exists, but more importantly l like the natural network that exists (to play on words) between the operators in order to do my job better.

Why did you become involved in the organization on the board level ?
My organization is a relatively smaller organization as compared with the "big boys" i.e. Digicel and C&W/Flow/Liberty and I wanted therefore to bring some additional perspective to CANTO.

What would you tell a company/organization who is thinking of joining CANTO?
"Hurry-up" and so do, you will find it a rewarding experience.
