Resources for CPR Week!

CPR and AED Awareness Week | American Heart Association CPR & First Aid

In order to conduct an Instructor Class you must:

  • Have your course approved by CALS at least 30 days in advance
  • All parties (TF & Instructor Candidate) must complete all documentation (via DocuSign) including monitoring form within 6 months of in person instructor class
  • We STRONGLY suggest monitoring be completed within 60 days of in person course.

The Training Center Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that appropriate equipment is available in sufficient quantity (as outlined in the Instructor Manual) and in good working order for each course conducted by the Training Center, Training Site, or Instructor. This can be accomplished by visits to each Training Site and by regular course/skills session monitoring.

  • CALS will begin site visits in June

ANY Incomplete DocuSigns will not be processed.

**PLEASE be sure you are following all directions including what to attach.

Failure to do so causes delays in submission process.

CALS now uses DocuSign for all paperwork submissions including

renewals and new instructors.

The digital document will only allow you to fill out what's required & will not allow you to submit until all required fields are complete!
