The Forum announces new restaurants

Nick Lombardo, (right) vice president of development for North American Properties, hosted a sneak peak tour for members of the media and local Chambers of Commerce on Wednesday, July 17. The outdoor plaza is slated to open Aug. 9. The North Plaza is already open. There will be a new restaurant in one of the jewel box buildings with an upstairs patio, although the name has not yet been released.

Three restaurants were announced that are opening in Politan Row, a food court concept that allows for a greater variety of options. At Politan Row will be Sheesh Mediterranean, from the owners of Stäge Kitchen & Bar and Pêche; Twenty Six Thai, a female owned and operated concept with seven other locations in the metro; and Gekko Kitchen, which started as a hibachi food truck and is opening its fifth location at The Forum.

The Forum is currently under redevelopment by North American Properties, which also developed Avalon in Alpharetta. Several phases of development are planned. Future phases will include 380 residential units and a boutique hotel.
