2024-2025 District Goals

The Wilson School District remains dedicated to our vision of "creating a place where students love to learn, staff love to work, and people love to live." In alignment with this vision, we establish annual goals to guide our progress and growth. At the September 3 School Board meeting, Superintendent Dr. Chris Trickett unveiled the 2024-2025 goals, highlighting our strategic focus for the year. He also reflected on some of the remarkable achievements from the previous school year. To learn more, click here to view the full presentation.

Construction Update:

Thanks to favorable weather and additional manpower from the masonry contractor, the construction of our new Performing Arts Center is making significant progress. Blockwork is advancing steadily, and underground work is paving the way for the upcoming development of the orchestra pit. We are committed to minimizing disruption to students and staff throughout this construction process.

Keep an eye out for more updates as the project continues!

"Nature has always been a profound source of inspiration for me as an artist. Its intricate beauty, boundless diversity, and inherent balance provides a canvas upon which I try to convey my unique perspectives on the relationship between humans and the natural world. To me, nature represents a sanctuary, a place of solace where I can reconnect with my primal roots and find tranquility amidst the chaos of modern life. I seek to capture this essence, portraying serene landscapes with lush forests and pristine lakes, as well as more abstract visions that hopefully beckon the viewer to explore and cherish the wonders of the natural world."

LET 4 Staff Sergeant Candace Johnson shares, “The Stairclimb brings the community and cadets together for a common purpose” This powerful event is more than just a fundraiser—it's a heartfelt tribute to the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11.

Families and community members are encouraged to join, with no cost to participate. JROTC will accept donations at the event. All donated money will be given to the National Fallen Firefighters Fund. As cadets climb alongside first responders, community leaders, and recruiters, they forge meaningful connections that go beyond the day’s events.
