Reminder! The City of Roeland Park is partnering with Price Chopper & KC Can Compost to make it easier for you to compost your food scraps and reduce your personal carbon footprint!

🍎 For $12.99/month, Roeland Park residents can subscribe and receive a 5 gallon bucket with a compostable liner.  

🍎 To get started, sign up at kccancompost.com where you can select a 5 gallon bucket and/or a countertop container. There is a $10 fee for the bucket and a $20 fee for the countertop container.

Bulky Item Pick Up Reminder

Bulky Item Pick Up Reminder! Up to two bulk items per month may be placed at the curb on your first and third service day each month for "no charge". It is not required, but it is helpful to contact GFL at kccustomercare@gflenv.com or 816-380-5595 to let them know you will be putting out a large item. Learn More: https://bit.ly/3qLU94z

▶️ Bulky item can be put out with your household trash for collection (excluding appliances).

▶️ Residents that have more than two bulk item per month can make collection arrangements with GFL prior to collection day. Additional cost may apply, payment is due upon collection.

▶️ Items considered bulk items: large furniture, mattress, box springs, carpet/padding (one room or less carpet must be cut in to 4 foot lengths and rolled up), etc.
