Bulky Pick-Up and Brush Collection - August 16th and 26th
Austin Resource Recovery (ARR) will provide final brush and bulk item collection services to Lost Creek residents prior to disannexation.
- All bulk items should be set out by 5:30 a.m. on Friday, August 16, following the setout guidelines.
- All large brush should be set out by 5:30 a.m. on Monday, August 26, following the setout guidelines.
New Solid Waste Services
The Limited District is in the process of finalizing a contract for preferred pricing with Texas Disposal Systems for trash, recycling, composting, and bulk / brush service. Details will be sent out later this week with information on the sign-up process. There will not be a gap in service.
Austin Resource Recovery - Final Cart Collection - September 3, 2024
Please place all ARR trash, recycling, and composting carts at your curb by 5:30 a.m. on your last collection day, September 3, and leave them at the curb after they have been emptied. A separate truck will pick up the ARR carts.
Each customer will be billed $24.64 by ARR to retrieve the carts. If a customer does not make their carts available for pickup on September 3, 2024, an additional fee of $45 per cart will be added to the bill.

The Limited District has compiled a list of Frequently Asked Questions related to disannexation which can be found on the District website. This list will be updated as new information becomes available.
Additional information provided by the City has been added, including a copy of the letter that they intend to mail to all residents.
