OREGON SOUTH COAST REGIONAL TOURISM NETWORK
BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE ADVENTURE DESTINATION

There’s nothing like a crisis to show what folks are made of. Gathering stories for this report has been an inspiring reminder of how lucky our team feels to live on the South Coast and work with so many truly wonderful, generous, and collaborative partners. “Partners” doesn’t actually quite cut it—so many of you are really friends, and after this year of witnessing the struggles and suffering of so many in our communities, then rolling up our sleeves and seeing what we could do together to help, you feel like family. It’s with this spirit of gratitude and pride we step into the New Year, carrying this important work forward to grow our tourism economy. Not a single campaign, grant, promotion, or project in this body of work was achieved by Travel Southern Oregon Coast alone; they were achieved by a talented collective, from Brookings to Reedsport and every point in between. Always together, always finding new ways to invest our time, resources, and hearts into this extraordinary place we call home.

With gratitude,
Julie Miller
Executive Director, Travel Southern Oregon Coast (TSOC)
Manager, Oregon’s South Coast Regional Tourism Network (OSCRTN)
