with Big Ryan

This 4 week series of storytelling workshops (for students in grades 2-5) lets children explore the world of crafting their own story. Big Ryan starts by reading certain children's literature that has influenced his own stories, and the group discusses some of their favorite stories. Then, Big Ryan leads an open-ended 'choose your own adventure story' followed by a 'circle story' where each child takes a turn adding ideas to a tale. By the final day of the series the children will have created their very own stories that they share with the group, family, and friends in a fun event.

Each child will be provided with a book to take home and a notebook to 'build' their stories.

This program was amazing last year - and full of creative student writers! We hope you can join us this year. Space is limited and registration is required - please call to sign up.
