Saint Lucia Shines at CTO’s 2024 Regional Tourism Youth Congress

The Ministry of Tourism is proud to announce Saint Lucia’s participation in the Caribbean Tourism Organization's (CTO) Regional Tourism Youth Congress, held from September 2 to 6, 2024 in the Grand Cayman Islands.


At 16 years old, Ms. Iara Ernest, a talented student from Leon Hess Comprehensive Secondary School, stood out among Junior Ministers from 11 other Caribbean destinations, representing Saint Lucia with great distinction.


On Thursday, September 5, 2024 Ms. Ernest delivered an outstanding presentation on the topic "Collaboration Across Cultures". Her engaging and insightful discussion highlighted the importance of cross-cultural collaboration in shaping a more  immersive and inclusive tourism experience.
