Dear Fellow Congregants,

It has been seven weeks since our two temples merged into one dynamic Congregation Mishkan Or ("dwelling place of light") and we are enthusiastic about our new direction!

We hope you will join us on Sunday, August 25, 4:00pm-6:00pm, for a Congregation Mishkan Or Garden Party and Activity Fair. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow members, learn more about getting involved in different groups, and enjoy some delicious treats! At 5:30pm, we will have a special ceremony to install a mezuzah on the door of the Sanctuary and bless our spiritual home!

Before the party, our Limmud Learning program will hold an Open House beginning at 3:00pm, for students pre-K to 12th grade and their families to explore school offerings, get acquainted with our building, and meet our amazing Limmud Learning staff.

PRAYERS FOR ISRAEL IN PERILOUS TIMES

Congregation Mishkan Or continues to pray and advocate for the release of hostages held by Hamas since a devastating attack on Israel - on October 7, 2023; we hope for the negotiations underway to halt war, bloodshed, and growing crises in Israel and Gaza. We offer solidarity and manifold blessings for the State of Israel. and the safety of all in the region. As fears rise worldwide of potential Iranian attacks, we yearn for the violence to end, for enduring peace and for all hostages to come home!
