The Social Planning Council of Ottawa is launching a Fall Employment Program to connect young talent with local organizations.

They're inviting participants, businesses and nonprofits to partner with them in providing IT and marketing work experience for youth aged 18-30, helping to develop Ottawa’s future leaders.

The Walk of Ages

The Council on Aging of Ottawa is hosting the Walk of Ages, a fun rock ‘n’ roll-themed walk that invites people from all generations to celebrate aging. With inflatable bouncy castles, a BBQ, interactive walking activities, rock ‘n’ roll music, face painting, and more!

When: Saturday, September 28^th

Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: 815 St. Laurent Blvd, Ottawa (the old Rideau High School, on the field)
