Buffalo Green Code:
Upcoming LWRP Outreach Meetings

The Draft Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) is the culmination of a 20-year waterfront planning process. The current draft tailors state and federal coastal policies to reflect local conditions, public comment, and a shared citizens vision for Buffalo's waterways. The plan identifies a future vision for land use and water use, with a focus on identifying places for open space and mixed-use redevelopment, and key public investments needed to mobilize investment and job creation.
