Gifts for him and her, relaxing or invigorating massages, facials, and spa parties - all right here in Buffalo Gap.
Tuesday, May 2: Tour of (Vacation) Homes. Admit it – you’ve always wanted to see inside all those beautiful, unusual, or eclectic rental properties that are ideal for vacationers or your over-flow house guests. Well, now you can! The Chamber is hosting a self-guided tour on Tuesday, May 2, from 4:00 -7:00 pm. The event is free to attend, but you must pre-register for the map and addresses. Click here to be on the VIP* list. *Vacation-home Inspector Participant
Also on Tuesday, May 2: Abilene Gives happens that day. This year you'll have the opportunity to support a community-wide clean day in Buffalo Gap sometime in fall. Funds the Chamber raises that day will go toward dumpsters and supplies to help make Buffalo Gap even more beautiful!

Thursday, May 4: Ground-breaking for Camp Able Practice Arena: This new arena is part of a much larger renovation project going on at Camp Able. Come see what they’re all about at 10 am that morning.
May 11: Chamber Community Meeting. Everybody is invited to meet at 5:30 pm at Buffalo Gap Town Hall to learn more about how our city is governed. The Council meets that night at 7:00 and you’re welcome to stay and see how they work. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for details!
March Fun
It was “Chamber of Commerce Weather” for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Big hugs to the Buffalo Gap Church of Christ and First Baptist Church for hosting and providing a wonderful, free, lunch to all attendees. Not to mention a spectacular egg hunt for kiddos! Rumor has it the Easter Bunny likes to be called Vanessa and can often be seen at the Perini Ranch Steakhouse when she's not hiding eggs.
The Abilene State Park and area Texas Master Naturalists held a fun-filled “Wings on the Wind” day, and Mother Nature provided lots of wind. Neighboring communities provided the visitors – more than quadruple from the year before. We are so fortunate to have this excellent park right down the road. The committee is already planning next year’s event. Remember the Park’s monthly Star Parties, Park Hikes, and Coffee with a Ranger, too. Pop onto our events page for dates and details.

Hardware and Haircuts: Officially Open!
Buffalo Gap Hardware & Supply, along with neighbor Barbershop 011, celebrated a ribbon-cutting in March. A few dozen residents and elected officials showed up to cheer them on. Everybody loves a locally-owned business, especially when their prices compete with the majors and their inventory is huge. If you haven’t seen them hardware store yet, stop by soon! And be sure to book an appointment to get your haircut with Milos!
