Message from the Principal

Arianna DeGeorge

Dear Families,

We have had a fun-filled week at Fairmount and Bryden! I would first like to thank our incredible PTO for creating such engaging activities for our students for Leap Day. From going on scavenger hunts, to taking home frog souvenirs, we truly appreciate the time and effort you spent into creating these experiences for our students. Scroll down to see our students participating in these fun activities!

On Thursday, Bryden Elementary had the opportunity to visit the high school to watch a band and orchestra combined concert. Thank you so much to Allison Siekmann, Dave Luddington, and Noel DeViney for putting this together for our students. We were so impressed with the talent of our high school musicians. It was a fun, educational performance for our K-2 students. Scroll down to see pictures from the concert!

Sincerely,

Ms. Arianna DeGeorge

Bryden/Fairmount Principal

Classroom Spotlight: Mrs. Margulies’ Second-Grade Classroom

Mrs. Margulies' class has been focusing on cultures and connections this month. We have been fortunate enough to have families visit and educate us about Japan and the Chinese Lunar New Year. In addition to connecting with our families, we enjoyed collaborating with Mrs. Lazerick's kindergarten classroom during a book buddy peer reading program. The second graders honed their reading skills by reviewing snap words and story elements with the kindergarten students. They made new friends and were very proud of themselves and the work they did with their buddy students.

Beachwood Neurodiversity Family Network Hosts Parent/Caregiver Support Group

Join the Beachwood Neurodiversity Family Network for a support group discussion on Sunday, March 3, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Beachwood High School Community Room. We will go around and share our recent “highs” and “lows” as well as anything else you would like to talk about. All are welcome, whether or not you identify as a neurodivergent family. Due to the sensitivity of the topics that may be discussed, as well as privacy concerns, this meeting is intended for adults only. However, if you do not have childcare, or are otherwise unable to attend in person, we are hoping to offer the option to call in virtually, please indicate if you would like the virtual option on the RSVP form.

Bryden Students Enjoy Educational Concert at Beachwood High School

Thank you to Allison Siekmann, Dave Luddington, and Noel DeViney for inviting our K-2 students to watch your incredible concert! The program included movement, an introduction to various instrument families, and beloved tunes from Bluey and Disney. We had an incredible time!
