Academic Dates & Deadlines
August 8-9 and August 8-12: Summer 2022 Finals Week for second 5-week and 10-week sessions. Find the schedule here. You'll start to see your grades the afternoon of August 15.

August 15-September 8: Fall 2022 Add/Drop Period. This is an optional registration window where you can adjust your schedule. You can add courses up to 18 units, or drop courses without receiving a W on your transcript. Keep tabs on your BroncoDirect Student Center's Enrollment Dates box for your Add/Drop window and your CPP email for more info.

August 24: Last day to drop all of your classes and receive a full refund or not owe fees. If you are not planning to attend Fall 2022 at Cal Poly Pomona, it is your responsibility to drop your courses to avoid owing fees to the university. If you drop all of your courses after August 24, you are responsible for prorated fees. Learn more about the policy here

August 25: First Day of Fall 2022. Classes are being offered in face-to-face, hybrid and online formats. It's crucial you check your schedule and your courses' instruction modes to confirm how they are being offered. Use our Instruction Mode Guide to learn about the different modes.

September 1: Deadline to pay Orientation fee for incoming students.

September 9: Deadline to pay any Fall 2022 fee balance for students receiving financial aid. Your aid should disburse approximately 10 days before the first day of the term to pay your balance, as long as you are enrolled in the minimum units required for a full disbursement of the aid you receive. If you get there during Add/Drop Period, your financial aid will disburse in 24 hours. Contact Financial Aid & Scholarships or the Bronco Advising Center if you have any questions.

September 9: Deadline to opt out of Instant Access e-textbooks for Fall 2022. If you have an E-Books charge on your account balance, you are enrolled in a course that is offering Instant Access digital course materials. Find more info and the opt-out link here.
