A Message from Principal Dumar

Bradfield Families,

The Family Picnic is always such a fantastic event. I love seeing all of our families come together and enjoy each other’s company. I appreciate the PTA Family Picnic Chairs Medley Turner, Missy Peck, and Stacy Hicks, who were very well organized and ensured we had plenty of volunteers and food to go around. I would also like to thank, Ms. Susan, Debra, Joyce and Jaime as well as Mr. Dale and Letty for working behind the scenes. Thank you, Officer Holley and Officer Koppa for always keeping us safe. Lastly, Mrs. Adams, Mrs. Kennemer and Mrs. Proudfoot for the extra legwork.

This past week, the District took the opportunity to recognize district staff members at the Service Recognition and Professional Achievement Awards Banquet. It was a special night to celebrate our Bradfield milestones.

A Message from our PTA President, Laura McCallan

I hope you all enjoyed our fun Family Picnic on Friday! The weather behaved and cooled off just in time for us to enjoy lunch outside with family and classmates! Thank you so much to our Family Picnic Chairs Medley Turner, Stacy Hicks, and Missy Peck for working so hard to plan such a fun event for our families. Also, thank you to Susan Graeber and her team for all their help as well!

I’d also like to thank our Cafeteria Leadership Team: Lee Drummond & Steve Noviello who have been working hard setting up Cafeteria shifts for the 24-25 school year. Thank you to Shannon Warren & Jourdy Wallace for their help with these efforts as well! Thanks to this crew (and all of our volunteers) we are well on our way to a fully staffed cafeteria for next school year.

I’d like to encourage you all to join us for our Spring General PTA meeting this Tuesday, April 23rd at 8:15 as we are joined by Meg Boyd (Director) and Allison Small (Board Member) from the Highland Park Education Foundation. Our guests will kick off our meeting with an explanation of HPEF/Tartan Fund and how your donations can help with things like increasing district teacher salaries and more. Then, we will be joined by Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Amy Wood as she explains the ins and outs of STAAR testing, and what you can do to support your children during STAAR testing. Coffee will be provided! I hope to see you there.

Go Broncos!

Laura McCallan
