Youth Sunday and Senior Recognition
This Sunday our Broadway teens take us back to the basics of what it means to be human. Amidst the messiness, labels and inequalities people create, we return to the Garden to remind ourselves of the basic beauty, dignity and equality God created us for.
We'll also bless members of Broadway's graduating class of 2024 and take up a special offering to benefit our youth mission trip to Kansas City through "Be the Neighbor."

Aimee McGoveran Joins Us This Sunday in Worship
We are excited to have Aimee with us during worship where she will be overseeing the sound board, cameras, and projector on Sunday mornings alongside our tech booth volunteers. She has been hard at work on Wednesday evenings for the Collective’s rehearsals, learning our equipment and meeting our tech booth volunteers, musicians, vocalists, and music staff. Stop by to say hello and welcome her to Broadway.
A grateful 'Thank You' to Tom Brintnall and our outstanding tech booth volunteers as they have served so well during this interim period.

New Day Broadway!
The generosity of our pledges represent the 2024-2025 budget to soon be approved at our May board meeting. This budget makes ministries possible in our building and in our community.
As of 5/2/2024, we have heard from 171 units, totaling $753,308.48 but there still are ministry programs to fully support. We can, with your help.
It is not too late to turn in your pledge cards to the church office. You can call, email, or drop by to make your commitments to move Broadway into our New Day!

Throughout May we will gather for a vibrant celebration of youth, the sanctity of baptism, the welcoming of new members into our community, and music. In the echoes of youthful voices raised in praise and the sacred waters of baptism flowing, we find inspiration and reaffirmation of our faith. We embrace the diversity of voices and experiences that enrich our journey together.
On May 26, let us lift our voices in harmony, blending the melodies of favorite old and new hymns, as through music, we unite in celebration, offering our praises as a testament to the enduring love that guides us in Sacred Everything.
Please send the title of your favorite hymn to Audra Sergel or Kristi Larsen before May 15th, or write it on the connection card during Sunday worship. We can't wait to hear your favorite hymns!

A Fond Farewell
Last Sunday was the big day, a celebration and farewell to our faithful servant, Terry Overfelt! There were laughs, hugs, songs, dancing, prayers, a groundhog named Phil/Felipe, generous gifts, a piñata, smiles, and yes, tears too. Just look at the way love overflowed at our worship celebration of Terry and Jeff Overfelt!
Broadway staff also celebrated Terry during her last staff meeting on April 30. She was greeted by a room of beautiful 'Terry' faces. Who knows, we might be pleasantly surprised by a 'Terry' around the halls in her absence. Well done, good and faithful servant!
