This year, there was good news to mark World AIDS Day on Dec. 1: Thanks to great advances in treatment, more than 38,000 people in New Jersey are living—and thriving—with HIV/AIDS.

But with the number of new HIV/AIDS cases ticking upward, the fight isn’t over. At Broadway House, we won’t stop until there’s a cure!

Fueling the Pipeline

Two Broadway House Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) recently took part in a National Apprenticeship Week event at Bergen Community College, highlighting the innovative ways we partner with educational institutions like Essex County College to address the national shortage of healthcare workers and create a pipeline for career advancement.

For the second consecutive year, Broadway House for Continuing Care achieved the highest level for the Antibiotics Stewardship Award from the New Jersey Department of Health. But it’s not just about gold-level recognition—it’s vital for the safety of our residents.
