“Much thought and planning went into Nothing is Real before it was painted. The result is a painting that has become one of my most treasured pieces, not just within the Beatles Series, but overall. The theme is based on the song, "Strawberry Fields Forever", with the main subject as an elegant chocolate covered strawberry. He is an Englishman….whimsical, transformative, heart endearing. I created this piece…my interpretation of the song, to take you away to other dimensions of reality and to fun and mysterious parts of life. This was my way to take you down to strawberry fields where nothing is real and nothing to get hung about.” - Robert
