Serving the Communities of Bridgewater Township and Raritan Borough
Dear Students, Families, and Staff,
As we transition from another successful school year into the relaxing days of summer, I want to take a moment to extend my gratitude to each of you. Your collective hard work, dedication, and support of our institution have made this year one of continued growth and success, a testament to our shared values.
I encourage all our students to embrace the opportunities that the summer months bring. Get outside, have fun, engage in creative pursuits, and interact with your friends and family. Whatever you do, please make the most of your time away from us.
Thank you to our district families for your unwavering support and involvement in our school community. Your partnership is invaluable, and we look forward to continuing to work together in the upcoming school year.
The shared commitment by our faculty, staff, and administration to fostering a positive and challenging learning environment is truly appreciated. Take this time to relax, recharge, and truly enjoy the well-deserved break. Your well-being is important to us.
As we look ahead, I am optimistic and excited about the future of the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District. As a result of our successful referendum, every building will undergo observable upgrades over the summer. We will keep the community posted on updates as we approach September.
Warm Regards,
Robert Beers

The Class of 2024 at Bridgewater-Raritan High School will be long remembered as the first graduating class to experience their commencement exercise at Rutgers University.
On the afternoon of Wednesday, June 19, an estimated total of 5,000 people - students, teachers, administrators, BOE members, and guests - all soaked in the classy atmosphere of the ceremony that was held in the cool and comfortable surroundings inside Rutgers University's Jersey Mike's Arena - far removed from the sweltering heat that was just outside the doors in Piscataway.
The 700-strong graduating class and the audience relished the speeches provided by the 2024 grads -Student Council President Isabel Rivera, Senior Class President Drew Davis, and Class Speaker Gracelynne Hao. A beautiful rendition of the National Anthem was delivered by the high school's choir, while A.J. Joshi, a member of the Board of Education, offered congratulatory remarks, High School Principal Dan Hemberger presented the Class of 2024, and Assistant Principal Dr. Mike Godown announced the class honors.
Once the proclamation was official, these graduates turned their tassels to the left on the caps that were then tossed into the air, almost reaching the rafters.

I am excited to share an update on our district's security team. Two years ago, BRRSD set out to enhance our security operations. Three years ago, the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District had five individuals covering eleven schools. Since then, we have added a district security coordinator, assistant coordinator, and ten campus monitors, all retired police officers, who work with local police to provide comprehensive coverage.
Our security plan’s success is a direct result of the collaborative spirit among our BRRSD security team, School Resource Officers, and Class III officers. These professionals communicate effectively and attend trainings together, all in the name of promoting student safety.
I extend my gratitude to our staff, as well as the Bridgewater Township and Raritan Borough Police Departments, for their commitment to keeping our school community safe.

Historic Season Capped with Group IV State Title
A fitting climax to this memorable spring baseball season was achieved when the Bridgewater-Raritan High School won the program's first Group 4 state tournament championship.
That elite honor was secured on Saturday, June 8, when Bridgewater-Raritan defeated Eastern Regional High School, 6-4, in the Group 4 state final at Veterans Park in Hamilton Township.
The team finished with a 30-3 record, which was a school record for victories in a season, while this historic year also included the Somerset County Tournament championship, the program's first since 1996, the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 state title, its first since 2010, and a second consecutive Skyland Conference's Delaware Division championship.
We tip our (baseball) hat to Coach Max Newill and his team!
