This year Breck brought back one of our favorite traditions: a Homecoming T-shirt design contest! Congratulations to senior class member Amira Sinclair '23, who created the winning design. Watch the video above to hear Amira share where she drew inspiration from as she created the various elements of the shirt. A special thank you to Breck's Creative Strategist, Brian Sobas, who worked tirelessly to help take Amira's beautiful pencil drawn illustration and turn it into the stunning Homecoming shirt that you see here. An additional thank you to Whitney Clark '02 for pushing to bring back the contest!

The alumni office recently caught up with Milan Burgess '16 and Rusty Gaillard '90. Milan recently started an exciting role with the Minnesota Vikings, who kick off their season next week. Rusty is thriving as an executive coach after a mid-career pivot, and has offered a free session during Breck homecoming for other people who might be considering a similar change. "Now and Then" Picture Project
|
|
It’s time to break out your old photo books! We are asking Breck friends to find old pictures that they have taken together, and send a recent picture with the same people. This is for a new project we are putting together later in the year. You can submit your pictures to the form below, or email them to alumni@breckschool.org.
Pictures can be a pair of friends, a group of friends, parents with their kids, a pair of high school sweethearts who have stayed together, siblings, or even an individual who just wants to show off their Breck pride. Let’s see those throwbacks, Mustangs!

To our wonderful Alumni community,
We produce Alumni Newsletters four times a year, and they are one of my favorite projects because they allow me the opportunity to speak to all of you at once. While you probably know me from these letters, I have always had a partner in putting them together: long time Breck staff member and communications professional, Karyl Rice. Many of you had the opportunity to meet Karyl over the past nearly 30 years, but if you did not, trust me when I tell you that she likely photographed your spring musical, your state tournament game, the moment you got your diploma, or just about any other important event at Breck. Karyl officially retired from Breck last week, so please join me in congratulating a phenomenal colleague (and friend!) on her many years of service to Breck. Karyl, as I always tell you, you are the best, and we are going to miss you!
As I have said many times before, it is a pleasure to serve this community as your Alumni Director, and I look forward to meeting many of you in the coming weeks. If you are attending a back to school or Homecoming event, please come and find me to say hello!
