Inspiring Stories from Our Creative Community in July
 
  • The Colorado Springs Philharmonic performed for 90,000 attendees at the annual Summer Symphony concert on Independence Day in Memorial Park.
  • TRG Arts was profiled by the Colorado Springs Business Journal for their inspiring work supporting creative industry across the U.S. and abroad. CEO Jill Robinson said, "I want Colorado Springs to be great... Where there is creative industry that is strong, the city pulses. I see our firm's impact and am motivated by that." 
  • The Marie Walsh Sharpe foundation announced gifts of $1 million each to the UCCS Galleries of Contemporary Art and Pikes Peak Community College.
  • Pikes Peak Makerspace opened their second location in Downtown Colorado Springs.
  • The Olympic Museum shared their plans for exhibit design, saying, "To come up with the unexpected is one of our goals." 
Men's choruses from Colorado Springs, Denver, and San Francisco joined voices in support of victims of the Orlando shooting.
