Here are a few fun facts about Ms.Cristy!

Ms.Cristy was born and raised in Elysian Valley. She loves traveling and often goes to Mexico as that is where most of her family lives! Growing up, her mom would send her and sister for long stay in Mexico so it runs deep in her family traditions and she is very close with all her family that lives there! One of her biggest hobbies is going to horse race tracks in Los Alamitos and watching the horses race. She has even gotten the chance to groom them! Ms.Cristy also loves going to ranchos on the weekend and dancing!

Career of the Month

Horse Trainer

"Horse trainers or instructors work with horses to ready them for riders, races or shows. They typically are expected to analyze horses’ dispositions to anticipate any possible behavioral problems such as kicking, tossing or biting."

Artist of the Month

Diego Rivera

"Mexican by birth, Rivera spent a good portion of his adult life in Europe and the United States as well as in his home in Mexico City. Early in his career, he dabbled in Cubism and later embraced Post-Impressionism, but his unique style and perspective are immediately recognizable as his own"
