**this class designed specifically with hospitality workers in mind (though everyone is welcome and would benefit!)

It can be tricky to maintain your posture and flexibility when you are working in a physically demanding job, but the benefits and impact on your quality of life can make it very worthwhile.

Through this introduction to anatomy, tension areas, range of motion and gentle stretching exercises, you will learn how to prevent injury, build strength and stay vibrant and active!

March was NUTRITION Month!
March is Nutrition Month in Canada. This year we focused on food waste reduction in the Bow Valley.

We turned to our community to find out how you are reducing your food waste and received many excellent tips, read the highlights and easy ways you can save the environment, save money and improve your diet through smart planning!

We’ve recently launched a calendar to share free health & wellness programs in the Bow Valley. We invite anyone offering a program that is: free, related to health & wellness, and available to residents of the Bow Valley to submit events via our online form.

Seniors' Centre Without Walls Phone-Based Programming
Open to older adults aged 55+ living anywhere in Alberta who find it difficult to leave their homes and are not tech-savvy.

Programs are free of charge and accessible by phone via a toll-free number.

Wellspring Alberta is a registered charity offering programs and services that meet the emotional, social and practical needs of people living with cancer – those diagnosed, caregivers and kids.

The Palliative Care Society of the Bow Valley (PCSBV)
Those navigating grief and loss of a loved-one and invited to access many free services provided by the Palliative Care Society of the Bow Valley. Services include: grief support walking group, speaker series, consultations: one on one, family or group sessions from 30 minutes to half-day workshops. Visit: pcsbv.ca/programs

Bow Valley Stroke Support Group Meeting

Have you or someone you know suffered a stroke? This is an opportunity to participate in a virtual 'living with stroke' monthly meeting in a safe supportive environment with other survivors who can identify with how all aspects of our lives have been affected.

The program offers fellowship, encouragement and conversation. Meetings include friendship, education and opportunities to express where we are in a space with people who understand.
