ROOTED IN FAITH, TRADITION, AND ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
A LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Dear Alumni,

Hello, and THANK YOU! On October 10, we held our annual Day of Giving, one of our primary giving events that helps us provide the best possible education for our students. As always, our St. Francis Borgia family met the challenge, helping us exceed our one-day goal of $150,000 by getting us to an incredible $192,522 — thank you so much for making it a record-setting day!

Support such as this is one of the many reasons I view the future of our school with such optimism. As the Archdiocese navigates through the various steps of the All Things New initiative, we are off to a fantastic start to the 2022-23 school year while laying the foundation for our next strategic plan, ensuring the health and growth of St. Francis Borgia for the next 25 years and beyond.

As I write this, we have a dozen volunteers baking away in the kitchen, prepping a dozen Borgia cookies for each Giving Day donor who gave us $100 or more - dozens and dozens of dozens will be available soon!

Please know that I speak for all of our faculty and staff when I say we are truly grateful for the support of our alums and the rest of the Borgia community. You are what makes it possible for us to stay true to our mission of providing a top-tier Catholic education to anyone who wants it.

God Bless,

Matt Schutte
President
BORGIA GIVING DAY 2022
We did it! Because of the generosity of so many, we surpassed our goal of $150,000 by raising over $192,000 on Borgia Giving Day. These dollars are imperative in closing the gap between tuition and the actual cost of education. We are immensely grateful for your support!

THE BENEFITS OF PLANNED GIVING
You can make a bigger difference than you think! Planned giving allows you to convert property you might not consider as potential gifts into contributions to benefit St. Francis Borgia High School. You can even make a substantial gift that costs you nothing during your lifetime through your will or trust or with a beneficiary designation of a life insurance policy or retirement account.

To learn more about how you can sustain Borgia with a planned gift, please contact Donna Grahl at donna.grahl@borgia.com.

ALUMS IN THE NEWS
Alumni Mentoring Panels
Business Industry Sector
One of the many benefits of our new Knight Time program is having time set aside for our students to attend alumni mentoring panels without any disruption to their class time. The panels are hosted in our collaboration space, which is optimal for bigger groups to attend and also allows the students to eat their lunch while engaging with alumni.

Last month, we hosted an engineering-focused panel. This month, we hosted alumni with a variety of experiences in the business sector.

Thank you to the following alumni for taking time out of their day to come back to Borgia and share their journey with our students!
