Our Inspection Process

We only source from mills that have passed our quality assurance testing. Our quality control procedures ensure that you are receiving premium tubing that is ready for use. So what's the process?


  1. Upon receiving product from a new mill, we use a borescope to fully inspect the ID of each length of tubing.
  2. If the mill passes our testing, it will be added to our curated list of suppliers.
  3. The buck doesn't stop there. Future shipments from suppliers undergo random testing to guarantee ongoing quality.

Borescoping Rocket Engines

Believe it or not, the flight time of a rocket engine is short-lived. Rocket engines are masterfully engineered and take several years to develop, including rigorous inspection processes. Upon completion, and after millions of dollars later, these engines will only be used for a few hours.


So where does borescoping come into play? During construction, a borescope is used to inspect the rocket engine without having to completely disassemble it—saving manufacturers vast amounts of time and money. Equally important, the use of a borescope ensures that the rocket engine has been built to the exact specifications required for safety, accuracy, and maximum performance.
