Lawyer sanctioned for copying opponents' work

- including editing errors


A federal judge in Pennsylvania has sanctioned a lawyer for copying and pasting language from opponents' filings into her motions, according to reports. The judge said the copying was “neither slight nor subtle.” He added, "A quick turnaround does not excuse a lawyer's ethical duties to the court." (ABA Journal)
