Greetings From The Library Staff

Dear Friend,

Well, spring has definitely sprung in Boonton!

At the library, we were a bit premature in planting summer annuals – with the help of Girl Scout daisies and brownies – on April 22. We had a couple of frosty nights, but all the plants survived and are looking healthy.

We have partnered with the Native Plant Society of New Jersey to launch a Morris Chapter. The first initiatives were our new free seed library and the garden workshop and plant giveaway on April 22. The next project is planting a native garden in our backyard; look forward to a colorful, pollinator-friendly yard for all to enjoy!

Warm regards,

Lotte
