KSHP Olympic Challenge - BOOKS!
BOOKS Delivery Begins:
Children beg to read, rather than eat.

First round delivery of English readers to grades 1-2-3 began this week greeted by teacher accolades and near hysteria from young children.  The readers are the children's first early education books - and they could not wait to sit down and . . .  READ!  Children at 23 primary schools will all receive 'Olympic' books this month.

Our manager reports:

"We had a really rough time taking photos, particularly at Migingo primary. The pupils refused to go for lunch because they wanted to read the new books.  It took a lot of convincing to get the pupils to go home - with the promise they were free to come in the afternoon and read.  The reading culture is forming right here!"
