LUNCH AT YMCA

Next week on Monday July 8, our Lunch with the Library at Sequoia YMCA program has a very special visitor! RCPL Bees' Sager Family Farm will teach the community all about bees and will even bring a fully contained observation hive.

YMCA lunch is served 12-12:30pm. You’ll find us following lunch on Mondays, June 24-July 29, from 12:30-1:30pm. Come for healthy lunches, books and free activities to help young minds and bodies grow and thrive!

Lunch at the Library is a project of the California State Library, supported with funds from the State of California.

VISIT PARKS THIS SUMMER

Great news! Our State Parks Passes program is continuing thanks to advocates throughout the state who spoke up about the importance of making our natural spaces accessible to all. You can read more about this win for libraries in a recent Los Angeles Times article.

The California State Library Parks Pass provides free vehicle day-use entry into a participating state park. To learn more about RCPL's free Parks Pass program visit this page.

In addition, we also offer San Mateo County Park Passes for a three-week checkout! For more information, go here.

Lastly, don't forget to pick up a Kids Discovery Backpack at the Downtown Library before you head out on your next adventure!
