I am using Kickstarter to fund the production and publication of a book and DVD about my father's life, but it's primarily about how and why he managed to survive over 2 years in 10 Nazi concentration camps.

Many who know me, have heard of my father's past, and every time I shared some of his experiences, you've said that I HAVE to document and publish his story. The work to accomplish this has been years in the making, collecting audio conversations with him and transcribing them.

 

Thanks to Kickstarter, a crowd funding platform and Amazon CreateSpace, a self publishing house, we are now able to get his story published and distributed, but we still need help from sponsors like you.

 

Should you decide to participate, you will be pre-purchasing either a copy of the eBook, DVD or paperback. Higher level contributions will be tax deductable, since sponsors will receive the number of books, which based on their retail cost, are of equal value to their sponsorship level. The deduction becomes valid when the books are donated by them to schools, universities or libraries.

 

This book is not only unique in its content, but also its format. Because of how the Kickstarter format can be made to work, some sponsors will have the opportunity to ask questions of my father, based on a pre-publication manuscript of his book. My father's answers to these questions will be recorded on an Interview DVD and their text included in the book as well.
