Daniel Gil - Assistant Principal, Morley Nelson Elementary School
Daniel Gil has served students in a number of school districts in Idaho and Utah for the last 17 years. During that time, he has worked as:
- Spanish/Multilingual Teacher, West Jordan Middle School, West Jordan, UT, 2007-2012
- Multilingual Teacher, Canyon Ridge High School, Twin Falls, ID, 2012-2013
- Dual Language Teacher grades 2, 5, and 6, Whitney Elementary School, 2013 to present
- Administrative Designee, Whitney Elementary School, 2017 to present
- Summer School Teacher, Boise School District, 2017-2018
- Summer School Principal, Boise School District, 2019-2022
Mr. Gil is a collaborative instructional leader. He works well in building effective and positive relationships with fellow educators, parents, and students. He has served in a variety of school leadership roles, including on school leadership teams, as the school’s technology coordinator and as a department chair. Mr. Gil believes strongly that each and every student can and will learn successfully when provided with the necessary resources, guidance, and support. He is committed to the Boise School District’s mission and vision that supports the success of each child.
He has a passion for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students and is committed to helping them reach their full potential. We are confident that Mr. Gil will be an outstanding addition to our leadership team and we look forward to the positive impact he will have on our school community.
Mr. Gil earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish Teaching, a Master of Education degree in School Leadership from the University of Utah, and is currently working on obtaining his Executive Leadership Specialist Degree from Boise State University.

Charlene Gimlin, Assistant Principal, Borah High School
Charlene Gimlin has served students since 1995. During this time, she has served as a teacher and administrator in a number of school districts.

She is a strong instructional leader who is committed to the District’s student-centered instructional model, which focuses on providing each student with the support, resources, and guidance to ensure successful learning every school day.
Ms. Gimlin has experience creating a positive, responsive school culture supporting students and families. She believes in strong school-community relations and is committed to the district’s strategic plan and vision: that every child can learn and succeed in college, career, and citizenship.
She believes that the most important contributor to students' success is their relational capacity with the adults in the building. She will work hard to support a strong culture that supports students' social and emotional well-being at Borah High School. We are confident that Ms. Gimlin will be an outstanding addition to our Borah leadership team and we look forward to the positive impact she will have on the Borah community.
She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and Master of Arts Degree in Special Education from Boise State University, along with her Specialist degree in school leadership from the University of Idaho.

Rick Jordan, Principal, Valley View Elementary School
Rick Jordan has served public school students for 29 years.
During this time, he has served as a teacher, coach, and administrator in various school districts in southwest Idaho.

Principal Jordan is a dedicated instructional leader who is committed to building positive relationships with students, parents and staff, and supporting teaching and learning in a student-centered learning environment. Mr. Jordan has a wealth of experience in education and has proven himself to be an exceptional leader. His passion for education and commitment to student success make him the perfect fit for this role. We are confident that under his leadership, Valley View Elementary School will continue to thrive and provide an excellent education to all students.
Mr. Jordan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in PE/Health K-12 Broadfield, from Montana State University and a Master of Educational Leadership degree from Boise State University.

Sean Sup - Assistant Principal, Horizon Elementary School
Sean Sup has served students in the Boise School District for the last 12 years. During that time, he has worked as:
- Assistant Principal, Amity, Grace Jordan, & Shadow Hills Elementary Schools, 2023 to present
- Alternative Jr. High Summer School, Assistant Principal, Boise School District, 2023
- English Language Arts & AVID Elective Teacher, Hillside Junior High School, 2012 to 2023
In addition, Mr. Sup has leadership experience as an AVID Coordinator (2016-2023); Instructional Lead (2021-2023); and Administrative Designee (2022 to present).
In these roles, he has led teams in the planning, implementation and refinement of school goals; the development and revision of curriculum; and in the use of the best practices for classroom instruction.
Mr. Sup is an instructional leader. His decision making is grounded in the District’s core belief that all students can and will learn when provided the adequate resources, support and guidance to do so. Mr. Sup attended K-12 in the Boise School District and now has a strong desire to give back to his community. He is dedicated to seeing that each and every student has those same opportunities that he was awarded in his youth. We are confident that Mr. Sup will be an outstanding addition to our leadership team and we look forward to the positive impact he will have on our school community.
Mr. Sup earned his Bachelor of English Literature at the University of Idaho; Secondary Teaching Certificate from Boise State University; Master Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Boise State University; and Master Degree in Educational Leadership from Boise State University.
