Welcome back to another BobBlast!
Yes, clean your paint brushes with soap and water. Many of us, me included, sometimes forget. An uncleaned brush ends up stiff, dried out and unusable...
But wait! Don't discard them! I have found if you soak these dried brushes overnight in full strength, concentrated
Murphy's Oil Soap, these "dead brushes" will come back to life! Murphys Oil Soap is a natural product, affordable and easy to find in many grocery and hardware stores. Your brushes will be restored, revitalized and CLEAN! Works for me!
Get into the habit, however, to regularly clean your brushes at the end of the day. I also recommend
The Masters Brush Cleaner and Preserver. This brush cleaner can be found at the art store.
Part of my end-of-the day-ritual is to put a little Murphys into the palm of my hand and swirl my brush around - clean your brush and your hands at the same time. Everybody's happy!
