BobBlast #208
High Key, Low Key - Both Work!

Welcome Back to Another BobBlast!

More on color! This video shows the way I use my Goof-Proof Color Wheel and the ten color combinations that work for me, every time. It will also show that my color wheel works no matter how dark and intense (low key)... or how light and serene (high key) your painting is.

My point being - use a goof-proof 4-color combination that always works, no matter how dark or how light the overall effect you want to achieve .

When you want a GREEN, the dominant green color comes from several greens - dark greens, cad green, lime green Etc. I also like making my own green with blue and yellow. I like choices.

The same goes for the three remaining colors in this combination - hot Opera pink is the focal point color, Orange and Purple my two spice colors, which augment the focal point color. So place these two pure colors near the focal point color.

So you can see in the demo, the color you choose doesn't have to come directly out of the tube. You can choose intensity or softness and give yourself some choices of the same color - it all works!

*My favorite color? The Wettest!

*Who was it that said... I haven't met a color I don't love?

*My favorite color? The Color currently on my brush!
