"The Best Book on Color."
Welcome Back to Another BobBlast!
There are many books on color. This BobBlast is about my favorite book in the studio - called
PowerColor - written in 2005 by my favorite teacher on color,
Caroline Jasper.
In this very complete, instructional and colorful book, Caroline shows color, its history, why and how it works - with lots and lots of
(what else?) color pictures and clear examples of each color combination.
Caroline features ten different artists' approaches, along with examples of their work. This book is so complete, you may not ever need to refer to any others - it is truly a
master color concept guide for
ALL MEDIA.
Plus, you will appreciate the contributions of many studio artists throughout this book.
I've read PowerColor many times, over and over... and each time, I've learned something new. I recommend this book!
Currently, Caroline Jasper has some health issues, and those of us are hoping for a speedy recovery.
