Board of Supervisors Meeting Agenda


The Board of Supervisors will have their next regular meeting on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 1 pm. Members of the public may attend in-person in Lane Auditorium at the County Office Building (401 McIntire Rd, Charlottesville, VA) or via Zoom (online or by phone).

How can I participate in a Board of Supervisors meeting?

  • In-Person on the 2nd Floor of the County Office Building at 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, VA 22902. Regular Board meetings are held in Lane Auditorium and work sessions are held in Room 241. Follow directional signage.
  • Livestream with live comment online https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89268578941
  • Listen with live comment by phone 301-715-8592 or 888-788-0099 (toll-free) and Webinar ID 892 6857 8941. For full directions, click here.
  • Livestream (view only) the meeting using our web-based video stream. The link is live when the meeting commences (albemarle.legistar.com).
  • eComment Make a public comment online using the eComment feature on the agenda website (albemarle.legistar.com). EComments can be submitted from when the agenda is posted to the end of the Board meeting. Learn more about this feature here.


If I wish to speak during "From the Public", how do I sign up in advance?

  • The total number of speakers during each "From the Public" is limited to 10.
  • In-person speakers may sign up using the sign-in sheets located in the meeting room on the table near the Clerk to the Board.
  • Virtual speakers must sign up using the e-comment feature -https://albemarle.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx - click eComment in the final column of the table for the meeting date at which you wish to speak.
  • Comments may be on matters previously considered by the Board or matters that are pending before the Board.
  • Speakers are encouraged to review the speaker guidelines found on the final page of the agenda.

If I wish to speak at a public hearing, how do I sign up in advance?

  • Speakers are encouraged to sign up in advance of the meeting online. Please note advance sign ups are not required for public hearings.


Can I share a presentation or other visuals during Matters from the Public or a Public Hearing?

  • Yes! All materials to be displayed in a Board meeting by a member of the public must be emailed to the Clerk (clerk@albemarle.org) at least 48 hours in advance of the Board meeting.
