As temperatures continue to climb, please take precaution against heat related issues and illnesses with yourself and those around you.

Stay hydrated
Know the signs and symptoms and learn how to recognize them in yourself and others.
Take time to rest and cool down

To refresh your memory and learn more about heat safety, go to the National Safety Council website or seek advice from a Blum Safety Manager in your region.

Jake Bailey's Trailblazing Award Nomination

Blum's Jake Bailey (Assistant Project Manager, Western Region) was nominated as a Trailblazer during the recent Asheville Chamber of Commerce Propel Awards! His innovative spirit and dedication truly make him stand out among young professionals. A round of applause for Jake!

Claude Sales receives letter of recommendation from Steele Group Architects

Claude Sales (Senior Superintendent, Triad Region) recently received a thoughtful letter of recommendation from Matthew Rodda of Steele Group Architects.

Matthew mentions his work with Claude at River Landing in 2019 and recounts the challenges of Covid-19. He writes, "...our client considers the project a big success under all these conditions, due in large part to Claude. Matthew goes on to say, "Claude is one of the best site superintendents that I have worked with in my 30-year career."

Claude, what a well-earned recognition! Thank you for your dedication to your role as Superintendent and to Blum's partners and clients. GIBSON COMPLETES OUTDOOR CLASSROOM IN TIME FOR GRADUATION

"June 6, 2024 – Gibson Elementary School officially unveiled their new outdoor classroom this week by welcoming families to their campus for a series of graduation ceremonies.

The outdoor classroom is a project that has required several years of work to come to fruition. The school secured a $14,000 grant from the North Carolina Youth Outdoor Engagement Commission in 2022, and ever since then, they’ve been constantly developing and reworking plans for an affordable and accessible space where students can enjoy classes outdoors."
