2024 Crossover Legislative Briefing



The Virginia NAACP will host the 2024 Crossover Legislative Briefing on Sunday, February 18th at 7 pm. The virtual briefing will include an overview of the bills championed by the Virginia NAACP and what to expect during crossover. You will also hear from Legislators and Advocacy Partners. Black History Month Celebration!



Come celebrate Black History Month with us! You’re invited to join us for an enriching Black History Month celebration at Harvest Assembly Baptist Church in Alexandria, VA. Co-hosted by Fairfax County NAACP and Jack and Jill of America (Burke-Fairfax Chapter), our program is set for Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.


Featuring an inspiring keynote address by Marvin Powell on the theme of “Black Privilege”. Mr. Powell is a Business Champion, Advocate, and Executive Coach. He's the CEO and Founder of Coach Powell Training and Development and Co-Founder of The Roundtable. Coach Powell is committed to helping business leaders fully exploit their unique talents and achieve success personally and professionally.
