Black Forest Road

Construction Update

July 26, 2024

One-lane operations north of Cottonwood Creek extended

to July 31

A lane reduction on Black Forest Road to one lane with flaggers from the bridge over Cottonwood Creek to Silver Ponds Heights has been extended through Wednesday, July 31. Motorists should expect delays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, July 29 through Wednesday, July 31, including at the intersection of Black Forest Road and Research Parkway, where flaggers will control traffic flow through the intersection.

This lane reduction is necessary for construction activities on the east side of Black Forest Road.

The project team is grateful for the public’s patience during this construction, and urges motorists to obey posted speed limits and watch for workers along the edge of the roadway and throughout the construction zone.
