Black Forest Road

Construction Update

June 3, 2024

Night work at Black Forest / Woodmen Intersection

reduces traffic temporarily to one lane

The intersection of Woodmen Road and Black Forest Road will be temporarily reduced to one-lane operations in each direction overnight from 8 p.m. Thursday, June 6 to 5 a.m. Friday, June 7, weather dependent. Motorists should expect delays and seek alternate routes, if possible.

This operation is necessary for work on traffic signals at that intersection. Night work will minimize the heavier daytime traffic impact to the traveling public. Colorado Springs police will be on-site to help with traffic control and public safety.
