Heads-Up for Start-Ups: Accelerant Investing Millions Locally

Accelerant™, an initiative of the Dayton Development Coalition, has raised $6 million from local investors and intends to invest in about 25 new start-ups in the Dayton region over the next three years.

With the launch of a new website (accelerantdayton.com) and a team of business development experts, Accelerant offers a range of resources to the region's start-ups and entrepreneurs, including funding, access to outside capital and mentoring/business strategy assistance.

The website includes in-depth information about applying for funding, funding options, access to the region's entrepreneurial ecosystem and more.

Accelerant is expecting matching funds from the Ohio Third Frontier Commission and will continue its fundraising activities to offer more to regional entrepreneurs.

The City of Dayton is an active Accelerant partner.
