Bitcoin Scams
One of the more common Bitcoin schemes is the "Ponzi" scheme, where you are offered a high return investment, and and once the scammers run out of victims to continue to pay back the initial investors, the scheme collapses, leaving many with big losses.
Other Bitcoin exchange scams offer processing fees at a very competitive rate, however, once processed, no Bitcoin funds are credited to your account.
Last are the
Bitcoin "wallet"
scams, where users are offered better transaction rates, which entices the user to deposit their funds into a "wallet," where the funds remain locked, and the user is unable to retrieve them.
