SCHEDULING EXTRA TIME & OVERTIME

JNESO nurses must sign up to work extra time and overtime IN WRITING ON THE OVERTIME SIGN-UP SHEET. The sheet is located by the time clock. JNESO suggests that you take a picture of the overtime sheet, after you sign it, as evidence of the date and time of your request. If you are choosing to text your request to the scheduler, you must keep your requested text messages and the text responses from management. Every request to work for extra time or overtime, MUST BE COMPLETED IN WRITING.

The November 26th – December 23rd Preliminary Schedule should now be posted. You should make your request to work extra time (overtime) starting this week, the week of November 5th, 2023. If the Preliminary Schedule is not posted contact JNESO immediately.

You also have the right to request to work on a day that agency nurses are scheduled to work. However, this must be completed in writing, as well. Send your text or email to the scheduler, Director of Nurses, Assistant Director of Nurses, the Administrator, and JNESO to notify management that you want to replace the agency nurse and specify the date and shift. You must notify Bishop at least 24 hours, or more, before the start of the shift.
