2023 PTO CARRY-OVER

(IMPORTANT MESSAGE)

JNESO RECEIVED NOTIFICATION THAT SEVERAL NURSES MAY HAVE TOO MUCH ACCRUED TIME GOING INTO 2023!

If hired after December 14th, 2015, a nurse may only carry over the following:

  • 0-10 years of employment - 56 PTO hours
  • 11 + years of employment - 80 PTO hours


If hired before December 14th, 2015, a nurse may only carry over the following:

  • 0 – 5 years of employment - 60 PTO hours
  • 5+ years of employment - 80 PTO hours

IF THIS APPLIES TO YOU, REQUEST TIME OFF IMMEDIATELY TO AVOID LOSING YOUR PTO!

G. Request of two(2) or more PTO days off must be submitted Thirty (30) days prior to the requested date. PTO requests will be made in writing and will be granted provided the request is made in a timely manner but shall not be unreasonably denied.  


H. Approval for PTO requests shall be in writing and available no later than 14 days from the time the request was placed.
