TRENTON, NJ (May 16, 2024) – BioNJ's 14th Annual BioPartnering Conference was held on Tuesday, May 14, at its new venue, the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City. The Conference drew a crowd of 600 from 22 states, D.C., and 9 countries.

“The Liberty Science Center proved to be the perfect venue for the Conference,” stated BioNJ President and CEO, Debbie Hart. “The modern, state-of-the-art facility epitomizes innovation, fostering a kinetic atmosphere, providing a backdrop for lively discussion and productive dialogue.”

Sponsored by J.P. Morgan, Johnson & Johnson and Morgan Lewis and Jersey City Economic Development Corp., the Conference brought together entrepreneurs, life sciences executives, investors, strategics, academic collaborators and business development professionals for an action-packed day which included plenary sessions, partnering meetings, exhibits, company pitch presentations and lots of networking!

Attendees also had the opportunity to book 15-minute appointments at the highly sought-after Industry Connections Desk, providing exclusive one-on-one sessions with Business Development professionals from major biopharmaceutical firms including Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Johnson & Johnson, Merck & Co., Pfizer, Sanofi and Teva Pharmaceuticals.

Additionally, beyond the in-person partnering sessions on Tuesday, one-on-one partnering meetings will continue virtually throughout the week. Nearly 550 meetings are expected to take place throughout the week.

The full-day program included nearly 90 pitch presentations from innovative companies across life science, biotech, healthcare and digital health sectors. Each presentation was judged in five categories, culminating with an awards ceremony at the close of the day.
