September 2024 Newsletter

Hi all,

Before I launch into programming, it it with great sadness that I state Georgia Bio is devastated about the shooting at Apalachee High School and the loss of the two students and two staff members. No community should have to endure a tragedy like this, and we hope leaders will do everything that we can to help ensure that schools are a safe place for teaching and learning. Our thoughts are with the families and communities impacted by this devastating event. Please email Megan if you would like a link to the GoFundMe's created to support either of the teachers. Additionally, here is a link from the School Crisis Organization that may be useful: Talking to children: Guidelines-Talking-to-Kids-About-Attacks
