Meet first-time author, Sassy Rock

Restoring Mary chronicles the triumphs and struggles of a three-generation family that overcomes the serious trials and tribulations they face in this life. From the not-so-accidental death of his younger brother and the death of his alcoholic parents to the wedding of his dreams, John Crockwell uses the love he and his bride, Sarah, have for each other and for the Lord, to lead their children toward a life of happiness, power and success. It's a story about lost treasure! Murderous thieves and family betrayal! But, more importantly, the Crockwells' unsinkable joy in the Lord, Jesus Christ, helps them to lead their children into a life of triumph over adversity.

In Restoring Mary, first-time author, Sassy Rock leads you through a powerful story of Biblical proportions!

Author Sassy Rock lives in Upstate New York with her husband, Don. They have two daughters and three granddaughters. The author would like to note that the painting on the cover symbolizes the ripple effect of God moving in our lives. He is always for us.

Yes, I’m on a new journey. August closes the doors on Yahweh Sisterhood Book Cub. I will continue to support authors on the Facebook page and through launch groups, and more.

The big news is in the Fall of 2024 I will launch a new podcast. I have felt led by God to not only meet authors but to expand the conversations. I’m praying for a co-host, all the material and funds we need to start. There is no name or game plan, and I’m okay with that. I have a great deal to learn yet, but confident in where God is leading me.

I’m taking the rest of this year to finish the first two of my children’s historical fiction books that have been in the works for four years. I have felt a failure, depressed, and wondered why I’m on this writer’s journey. It was never a calling I had in my entire life until God gave me the idea. Just like a cake, it needed a recipe, fresh ingredients, mixing, whipping, and carefully put in the fire to bake. My cake has flopped many times, but I’m trusting God to give me all that I require to finish my first two books. I had to set some things down in my life to get to this point, but I know it’s God leading me on.

I will continue to share this journey with you and hope you will come along.

Next month brings a new format and hopefully some exciting news.

If you have a prayer request, please send it my way. I would love to pray for you.

Blessings, your sister in Christ, Jo
