We are making this happen...

but still need your help!!

Since February, when the Giving Grocery received the news that we won't be receiving our largest grant again for the 2024-25 school year, we have been so grateful for the support from individual donors, foundations, and partners. We are one-third of the way toward our fundraising goal!

Click here to make a tax-deductible donation!

If you'd prefer to donate by check, please make it payable to our fiscal sponsor, Denver South PTSA (with Giving Grocery in the memo), and send it to Denver South Giving Grocery, 1700 E. Louisiana Ave., Denver, 80210. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with tax ID 84-0930187.

The Giving Grocery was featured in this month's Wash Park Profile. Read the article on page 4 HERE.

Keep an eye out in July for more information on our this event!

In the meantime, we could use your time, treasure, and talent to make it a success! We are looking for:

-Auction items - vacation homes, art, tickets to the theater or

sporting events, unique experiences, and more!

-Sponsors

-Beer and wine distributor or liquor store connections

-Volunteers to assist in event planning

-A few volunteers for the day of the event

Contact Jen HERE if you are able to help!

Thank you to Bonnie Brae Cory Merrill Garden Club, a group of generous students, parents, and teachers at Slavens Elementary School, and Leslie from the Washington Park East Neighborhood Association. All of these groups showed up for us last week with an abundance of food and personal care from drives in their communities!

Foundations and Partners:

We'd like to extend a special thank you to Kenneth King Foundation and The Connie Burwell White & William White Foundation for believing in our work and recently awarding us grants. These funds will help us to continue serving over 200 South students, including Newcomers, next school year.

In addition to monetary donations, we welcome donations of unopened food and personal care and food drives held by offices, book clubs, neighborhoods, etc. Some of the most in-demand items we accept are

cereal, peanut butter, jelly, macaroni and cheese, deodorant, body lotion, shampoo, and sanitary pads.

We are not in need of clothing at this time. We can receive items on 5/23, 6/20, or 7/18 from 9-11:30 am in the small courtyard parking lot off of Louisiana at Williams Street. If you'd like to arrange a different time, please contact us.
